Pudding Roti



Tergila-gila sama Puding roti ini.. Enak bgttttt heheheh...
Resepnya milik Nigella Lawson yg jadi koki di Nigella kitchen..
Pas lg ntn, dah kebayang enak nya, lgsg deh cek bahan - bahan dan taraaa, kumplit..
Lgsg dicoba saat itu jg, hasilnyaaa nyum nyum bikin ketagihan hehehe...

Translate to Indo versi saya :
 Bahan :
250 gr     Roti Tawar, potong kotak
100 gr     Choco chip
3 btr       Telur
40 gr       Brown Sugar
2 sdm      Rhum
125 ml     Double Cream (whipped cream cair)
500 ml     Susu Cair
4 sdt       Gula pasir

Cara Membuat :
  1. Oles Loyang diameter 24 cm dengan mentega, taruh sebagian roti kedalam loyang, tabur dg choco chip dan taruh sisa roti diatasnya dan tabur lagi dengan choco chip. (biasanya saya panggang dulu rotinya sampai sedikit garing, baru di taruh di loyang).
  2. Campur telur, brown sugar, rhum, whipped cream, dan susu cair, aduk rata. Tuang ke roti sampai roti tersiram dan meresap.
  3. Diamkan selama kurleb 20 menit, lalu taburi gula pasir.
  4. Panggang dengan suhu 170 derajat celcius selama 40 - 50 menit. Angkat dan dinginkan.

Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding



Ingredients

  • 250g stale bread, cut into 3cm cubes
  • 100g chocolate chips or morsels
  • 3 eggs
  • 40g soft light brown sugar
  • 2 x 15ml tablespoons dark rum
  • 125ml double cream
  • 500ml full-cream milk
  • 4 teaspoons demerara sugar
  • 1 x ovenproof dish approx. 23cm diameter x 6cm deep (approx. 1.5 litre capacity)

Method

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 170°C/gas mark 3. Grease a round pie dish lightly with butter. Tip in the stale bread cubes; if your bread isn’t stale, then leave slices to dry first, for a while, on a wire rack before cubing and using.
  2. 2Toss in the chocolate chips to spread evenly among the bread cubes.
  3. 3Whisk together the eggs, light soft brown sugar, rum, double cream and milk. Pour this mixture over the bread and press the cubes down to coat them in the liquid.
  4. 4Leave all this to soak for 20 minutes, then sprinkle with the demerara sugar and put straight into the oven for 40–50 minutes. If your oven browns unevenly, turn the dish around halfway through cooking.
  5. 5Let the dish stand for a while before serving – if you can. The smell as it bakes is almost overwhelming and it can be hard to wait once it is out of the oven.
